Durable and substancial leather halter from Otto Schumacher. The leather is 2.8cm wide which is just over 1", plus padding.
Handcrafted from the best European leather that will last a lifetime. Perfect at a show halter or just to spoil your special friend around the barn.
To keep your halter looking great for many many years, remove dirt and sand regularly, and apply saddle soap and leather grease/oil as needed, in order to maintain the suppleness and health of the leather and keep it from cracking.
Choose your own leather and padding colour combinations to suit your
taste and your horses look. Also available as patent.
This is a Special Order items so please allow up to 5-8 weeks for delivery.

Can I also have a stainless steel name plate put on this halter?

Hi Cynthia
Unfortunately OS is not able to make the halter with a nameplate, but they can make the halter so it's possible to add it after the fact.

Concerned full too small or xfull too large. Is there a size chart?

Hi Melissa.
I'll be happy to send your measurements of a halter that fits to OS for them to determine which size you need. If your horse usually wears size full, then full should fit in OS. The bridles adjust in and out quite a few holes, so I'm sure one or the other will fit.

Hello, can you please send me the measurements of the x-full halter? I am trying to buy as a gift, but my trainer’s horse has a very large head so I need to see if x-full is too small. (Crown 27”, cheek 9”, noseband 30-31”)

These are the measurements for the X-Full (size 3) halter:
Round about 116cm (45 1/2") over neck, noseband circumference round about 70cm (27 1/2").

HI Nina. OS can make the halter so it is possible to attach a name plate on the side. They are not able to add a nameplate themselves. the leather will be flat at the spot the nameplate can be attached. Thank you, Katja
